SPP HG COGS
DESCRIPTION
The SPP HG-Compatible Chromoly Cog is precision-engineered and heat treated for HG freehub bodies (Shimano® compatible) and built to handle the explosive torque demands of BMX racing. Featuring a SUPERSIZED™ 5mm-wide inner base, this cog provides a broader, more stable interface with the cassette body, reducing flex and micro-movement under load. CNC-machined from high-strength Chromoly steel and finished in ED Black with laser-etched graphics, it delivers race-ready durability and consistent power transfer.
Built for riders who demand reliability at full sprint.
FEATURES
HG Precision Interface
Designed specifically for HG freehub bodies (Shimano® compatible), this cog delivers a precise, stable engagement with the cassette body to ensure consistent drivetrain performance under race load.
5mm-Wide Inner Base
The 5mm-wide inner base increases surface contact with the freehub body, reducing micro-movement under sprint torque and improving long-term durability during repeated race efforts.
Chromoly Steel Construction
Manufactured from high-strength, heat treated Chromoly steel, this cog is built for extended service life and resistance to deformation under aggressive BMX sprint conditions.
Precision CNC-Machined
Each cog is CNC-machined to exact tolerances for accurate HG spline engagement and smooth, consistent power transfer.
ED Black Finish
A durable ED Black coating enhances corrosion resistance while maintaining a clean, professional race appearance.
Laser-Etched Graphics
Permanent laser-etched markings ensure long-lasting identification and branding without wear or fade.
Chain Compatibility
Compatible with both 3/32” and 1/8” chains, allowing flexibility across a wide range of BMX race builds.
