Dirt Jump / Trails
A lightweight, full-on Dirt Jump / Trail / Street bomb-proof street frame. This devil is both strong and fast.
Almost a contradiction in terms, but, by consulting with our friends at Reynolds tubing in Birmingham England, we have developed a lightweight frame which is virtually as strong as the bombproof 666X and lighter.
Now redesigned and tweaked for a cleaner and sleeker look.
The Identiti 666R features Premium quality Double Butted Reynolds 853 main tubes, and to shave some extra grams - a threaded Euro BB type BB.
To keep things simple, we have specified a Straight forward, BMX style 'no-flare' ring re-enforced 1 1/8" headtube as we won't be introducing Lycra shorts or Road Bike headsets quite yet!
You want a frame that is strong enough to Jump, light enough to race, and agile enough to pull winning tricks - here's your premium option!
Reynolds 853 Air hardened, double butted main tubes
Straight, pierced Toptube with super rigid flowed-in seat stays
Lightweight, short taper box downtube gusset
Identiti A.D.S. dropouts system (for complete user flexibility)
Lightweight threaded Euro BB shell
Reinforced BMX style heavy duty CNC headtube
Lightweight CNC Alloy ADS dropouts
Lightweight, double butted heat treated Identiti TAF Cr-Mo rear stays
Identiti T-4 seat post and QR clamp included
What's in a number?
Reynolds introduced their 853 material in 1995. The strength to weight ratio of 853 is equal to that of quality titanium frames. Normal chrome molybdenum steel will lose strength in the joints after the heat has been applied, 853 INCREASES in strength as the frame cools.
This unique air hardening property of Reynolds 853 provides additional stiffness through reduced microyielding at the joints, allowing stiffer frames with excellent fatigue strength (when compared to standard chrome molybdenum) and excellent ride quality.
666R Inflexible flexibility
By using the replaceable CNC alloy Identiti Adjustable Dropout System, this premium 853 Devil can be run with derailleur gears, hub gears or Single Speed, with QR skewers or nutted axles, 24" or 26" wheels - in any combination with Disc brakes.
Optional S24 ADS dropouts are now available, which are 24" specific super short dropouts giving 15 1/4" chainstays thus, making this Universal 26"/24" frame handle every bit as well as a short tail 24" specific frame - if that's what you want, but without the limitation of being 24" only.
